Show Summary

Evernorth is expected to list on the Nasdaq on October 8 holding about 473 million XRP, and Jeff and Chip explain why that is now just one buyer standing in a growing line. US spot XRP ETFs already hold 1.19 billion XRP, four Korean financial institutions took the stage at XRP Seoul, and AI agents have passed 10 million payments on the XRP Ledger. All of it is happening with XRP under $1.50.

  • Evernorth holds about 347 million XRP today and reaches 473 million when the deal closes. Shareholders approved the merger, closing is expected October 7, and trading under the ticker XRPN is expected October 8. Asheesh Birla says this treasury will be actively managed, not parked.
  • US spot XRP ETFs added about 8.2 million XRP this week and now hold 1.19 billion XRP.
  • XRP Seoul drew more than 5,000 people, with K-Bank, Kyobo Securities, Woori Bank and JB Bank on one stage. XRP Asia launched, founded by Ripple and the XRP Ledger Foundation, and Monica Long said tokenized volume ends up on public blockchains. Korea accounts for about 30% of XRP trading volume.
  • Stablecoins: Circle added $915 million in Q3 and Ripple’s RLUSD was second with $765 million, while Tether shrank. RLUSD is also powering an insurance pilot for 3,000 smallholder farmers in Uganda. Chip explains why the name RLUSD misses.
  • The XRP Ledger crossed 10 million x402 AI agent payments, and the chat asks why XRP still matters when RLUSD exists. The answer: XRP is the liquidity and the fee token every transaction on the ledger needs.
  • Also in the back half: Trump’s near-100-mph motorcade to the Oklahoma rally, Charles Barkley on Democrats and immigration, Project Meridian, how Trump bought Mar-a-Lago, the school riots in France, Carney and the steel layoffs in Canada, and a British veteran’s Remembrance message.
