Show Summary

Tonight’s show connected a series of developments showing how quickly crypto, XRP, blockchain infrastructure and traditional finance are beginning to converge. Mastercard’s involvement with an XRP Ledger hackathon, RLUSD surpassing $2 billion in market cap, U.S. banking associations building blockchain rails, crypto-backed mortgages, and AI agents transacting on-chain all point toward a financial system that is increasingly being rebuilt around digital-asset infrastructure.

Jeff and Chip also dug into the rapidly developing world of AI agents, including how autonomous software may eventually handle payments, purchasing and financial decisions without users ever knowing which blockchain is operating behind the scenes. The second half of the show shifted into geopolitics and culture, including the U.S.–Canada trade conflict, Trump, social-media conspiracies, and the growing impact AI and algorithm-driven media are having on society.
