Show Summary
XRP spot ETFs now hold 1.13 billion XRP and $1.46 billion in assets, after another 6.3 million XRP of inflows this week and 645.3 million XRP walking off exchanges. Every part of the bullish mechanism fired at once, and XRP sat at $1.43. Jeff walks the Week 38 supply report line by line, and Chip puts beside it the number nobody else quotes: the ETFs and index funds hold 1.129% of total supply, while exchange wallets hold roughly 21%. The ETF bid is real. It is not yet large enough to see.
- The Fed raised rates to 3.75%–4.00% on Tuesday in a unanimous 12–0 vote, with another hike projected this year and one more in 2027 — and XRP didn't move. Chip's read: inflation is lower than it was under Biden and they hiked anyway, which is the case for getting rid of the Federal Reserve entirely.
- Where all 100 billion XRP actually lives — 31.9 billion locked in escrow, about 32% of supply; roughly 21% sitting in exchange wallets; 14 million burned; RLUSD at 2.38 billion; treasuries holding 473.3 million; and the ETFs at just over one percent. Plus the fund-by-fund flow breakdown, with Bitwise and Franklin Templeton well clear of the field.
- Ripple Treasury and the trapped-cash problem. Renat Vareki on why CFOs moved from the sidelines into action, what instant settlement does to idle corporate cash, and how nights and weekends turn a treasury from a cost centre into a revenue generator.
- XRP and RLUSD land in Stripe and Tempo's AI payments kit, alongside version 1.1 of the XRPL AI starter kit with Machine Payment Protocol and Open Wallet Standard support. Jeff presses on what it actually means in practice — it is a payment option a developer builds in, not a switch Stripe flips.
- Ripple CLO Stuart Alderoty on CLARITY: politics beat policy, 67 million American crypto owners aren't going anywhere, and neither are the allies who found it politically expedient to walk. Plus the Xaman scam warning in full, cold-storage discipline, the old-phone wallet protocol, and why Chip never moves a large position in a single transaction.
- Also in the back half: the Greenland agreement Trump calls permanent American control while Denmark's own statement calls sovereignty preserved, Rubio on why NATO has become a one-way street, Uphold's 3%-back auto-invest, NASA burning $65 million a day against what SpaceX does, and the Grape Drop Playbook that stands up an XRP Ledger build from a single prompt.
