Show Summary
With Chip on the ground in New York, Jeff flies solo through Ripple Swell 2026 and the question hanging over the whole conference: with RLUSD getting all the attention, where does that leave XRP? Brad Garlinghouse answered it on stage. Ripple only wants to do things that are good for XRP, RLUSD is in service of that, and about half of all RLUSD is now issued on the XRP Ledger.
- Swell turns 10 and it's bigger than last year: the countdown film, the CME fireside that kicked it off, and Ripple's "why should you have to choose?" pitch to traditional finance.
- Robinhood and Ripple: Monica Long and Johann Kerbrat on Bitstamp, liquidity and treasury management through a single partner.
- Evernorth: tokenization went from barely a concept 18 months ago to $400B on chain, yet only about $40B of it is actually being put to work. Jeff on why that looks like the early internet, and why the Clarity Act's rules of the road matter.
- Payments and agents: RedotPay moving RLUSD into everyday payments, and AWS, Stripe and Mastercard on AI agents moving money on their own.
- On the ledger: Mayukha Vadari on smart features for the XRPL, and Wietse Wind relaunching the XRP TipBot as a self-custodial Xahau TipBot.
- Also in the back half: the first Venezuela oil shipment lands in Corpus Christi, methane rules get cut, a $1M reward for reporting voter fraud, and Trump answers Obama's Cheesecake Factory jab about the White House.
